Bülent YILMAZ

Bülent Yılmaz is a practitioner and consultant with in-depth knowledge in critical areas such as industrial automation, energy management, water management, sustainability and Twin (digital-green) transformation for more than 30 years. he graduated from the Department of Electrical and Electronics of Marmara University in 1995.

Career Journey

Between 1996 and 2006, he worked at Weidmuller and Omron companies and held important managerial positions in industrial plant design, automation systems, robotics, mechatronics and field applications of CNC systems. Dec.1996-2006, he worked in the field of industrial plant design, automation systems, robotics, mechatronics and CNC systems. In this process, he has also undertaken project management in critical areas such as energy efficiency and water management.

Bülent Yılmaz, who provided project design, engineering and contracting services to infrastructure and industrial facilities with his own company between 2006 and 2021, has been providing consultancy, process management, project management, basic & detailed engineering services and trainings since 2021, focusing on sustainability and holistic (green-digital-lean and cultural) transformation. Dec.2021, Bülent Yılmaz has been providing consultancy, process management, project management, basic & detailed engineering services and trainings.

He has made significant contributions to companies to reduce production costs and reduce their environmental impact with the projects he has realized in energy-intensive sectors. By closely following the developments in the field of sustainability and holistic transformation, it helps companies and institutions to prepare for the future.

Sectoral Diversity and Experiences

Throughout his professional life, he has provided optimization of business processes with important projects he has realized in various sectors such as energy, water & wastewater, crude oil, petrochemical, gas, mining (boron industry, cement, ceramics, marble), aviation, rail transportation, automotive, white goods, textile, food & packaging, metal-wood-composite and industrial plastic processing.

• He has provided basic and detailed engineering services for machinery and process automation systems at more than 3,000 OEMs.
• More than 1,500 end users have also carried out business development and project management activities
• More than 4,500 energy managers have been trained in energy efficiency practices in the Ministry of Energy's EIE certification programs.
• He has provided training on renewable energy and energy efficiency practices to more than 800 municipal and university personnel. (YEVDES/GIZ)

• He has provided integrated roadmap preparation and process management services for more than 30 sustainability and holistic transformation projects.
